US VDF FutureCeuticals, is a research and development, production, and marketing company specializing in safe, healthy food and dietary supplements products. Our proprietary line of CoffeeBerry® Whole Coffee Fruit products are carefully developed and intensively researched and are now available for commercial sale and licensing. CoffeeBerry® Whole Coffee Fruit products and processes are covered by pending US and foreign applications, and one or more of the following patents: US 6,572,915, US 7,754,263, US 7,807,205, and US 7,815,959. VDF FutureCeuticals provides a wide spectrum of fruit-, vegetable-, bean- and grain- based ingredients that are rich in a variety of antioxidants and other phytochemicals. Our product line focuses on items with scientifically proven benefits and potential for high market demand. We are proud of the fact that many of our newest nutraceutical products are patented, proprietary and unique. VDF FutureCeuticals methods of raw material selection, concentration and drying assure that all products have maximum levels of nutrients and are only of the highest quality. Our in-house processing, testing laboratories and state-of-the-art quality control assure rapid turnarounds and premium products. We are not merely a brokerage or clearing house. On the contrary, we are the premier producer and manufacturer of fruit- and vegetable-based nutriceuticals in the marketplace today. Our processing capabilities include: fermentation, refining, IQF freezing, freeze drying, drum drying, air drying, spray drying, vacuum evaporation, extraction, synthesis, milling, grinding and blending. With locations in Illinois, Wisconsin and California, our state-of-the-art plants process over 50 million pounds of product every year. Our facilities include 600,000 sq. ft. of production area, two microbiology labs, an HPLC reference lab and over 1000 acres of organically certified farmland in both Illinois and California. We have been able to achieve an extremely rigorous standard of quality control by fully integrating our growing and processing operations. VDF FutureCeuticals was one of the first companies to embrace the ORAC scoring system. We were ORAC when ORAC was brand new.
All of our facilities are GMP compliant and feature a full implementation
of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP). Our QC programs
include self-inspections, sanitation, pest control, employee training
and routine environmental monitoring (including air sampling and
bioluminescence technology). We have annual audits by AIB International,
a leading third party inspection agency for the food industry and
have received their highest SUPERIOR rating. Additionally, all of
our plants are Kosher Certified and are also certified as Organic
Processing Plants by QAI (Quality Assurance International) and the
State of California.
